Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes (born Amanda Laura Bynes on April 3, 1986) is an American actress. Amanda gained notoriety by starring in two Nickelodeon series in the mid to late 1990s, All That and The Amanda Show, as well as The WB’s What I Like About You in 2002. Amanda successfully transitioned her career to the big screen with films such as What a Girl Wants (2003), Love Wrecked (2005), She’s the Man (2006), Hairspray (2007), Sydney White (2007), and Easy A (2010).

Amanda announced her retirement in 2010 before deleting her Twitter account.

Ironically, Amanda has been vocal about not becoming a wild Hollywood star. In 2007, she said, “I think I’ll go out as much as I’ve ever gone out… which is not a lot. I like to dance and stuff, but drinking isn’t good for you in every way. It’s not good for your skin; it makes you feel horrible. So, drinking-wise, no.” Unfortunately, in 2012, Amanda experienced a number of run-ins with the law. The former Nickelodeon star was arrested for a DUI and two counts of hit-and-run. Amanda’s license was suspended, but her car was impounded after failing to abide by her suspension.
